A Shared History of Individuals
Over the past 28 years, Chi Delta has helped build over 250 remarkable women. Our sorority has been home to All-American Athletes and Fulbright Scholars, award winning theater majors, and members of Student Congress. It has helped foster our leadership skills, devotion to community service, and a drive to follow our passions. Today you will find alumnae of Chi Delta across Nebraska and the United States being active members of their communities and representing the pillars of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service that Chi Delta is built upon.
The Chi Delta Alumnae AssociationThe purpose of the Chi Delta Alumnae Association is to develop and promote open communication in order to foster relationships among all Chi Delts, active and alumna, and to promote the ideals of the Chi Delta Sorority. Founded in 2011, the organization is open to all former actives of Chi Delta Sorority, regardless of whether or not they remained at Doane through graduation. It is as alumnae that we discover the true significance of a lifetime commitment to Chi Delta. The opportunities Chi Delta provides for our personal development, community involvement, leadership and sisterhood follow us beyond graduation. By actively participating in the alumnae association, we enjoy the association of our of fellow Chi Delts. We have a new dimension of sisterhood to share, more memories to be made, and good times to add to those we cherish from collegiate days.
Currently run by a thirteen member board, the CDAA provides a number of social events throughout the year and across the state of Nebraska to maintain and form new relationships with our fellow sisters. We raise money through donations, fundraisers, and merchandise sales to create these events and assist the actives throughout the year. Our current project is to create an endowment fund at Doane University to foster generations of Chi Delts to come. More information will soon be available under the endowment fund page. |
